Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) This is a programme designed to provide time and resources for university applications, discussion of appropriate issues such as time management and revision schedules. We also discuss social issues such as HIV/AIDs, eating disorders, drug and alcohol abuse and personal issues such as stress management and financial planning. The programme is offered one period per week and is led by the Sixth Form Team. The Sixth Form and Careers Team come together to provide a structure that enables students to be prepared for application deadlines to institutions of higher education world-wide. Physical Education (Core PE) The Physical Education programme is carefully designed in order for students to maintain an active sports involvement within the Sixth Form. We promote health, fitness and good use of leisure time as part of our school ethos. Physical Education in the form of a games option programme is a compulsory element of the Sixth Form Curriculum and there is the opportunity to negotiate students' own programme as a wide range of choices will be on offer from the Physical Education Department.
