˜ Citi has named Chris Cox as head of investor services, according to an internal memo seen by Global Custodian. As head of investor services, Cox will be responsible for Citi’ s custody, fund services and execution services businesses. In addition, Citi’ s global head of securities services, Okan Pekin, will depart the firm after more than three decades to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. The bank has also named Steve Taylor as head of data and client platforms for its issuer services and investor services businesses.
˜ State Street appointed Jason Rich as lead for Singapore and Southeast Asia, Brendan Eccles as global head of prime services, and Sarah Salih as head of North America for investment services. The custodian also reshuffled product leadership, expanding Chris Rowland’ s role, naming Will Kinlaw head of investor data products, and assigning Scott Carpenter to a global coverage model, all reporting to chief product officer Donna Milrod.
˜ Northern Trust appointed Melanie Pickett as head of asset servicing, Americas, Paul Bassermann as senior transformation manager in the Netherlands, and Nick Leale as managing director of its banking operations in Guernsey.
˜ Standard Chartered appointed Laurent Marochini to lead operations at its newly launched Luxembourg entity, which will offer digital asset services.
˜ SimCorp appointed Keith Haberlin as its global head of business services sales.
˜ TEB securities services, a joint venture between TEB and BNP Paribas, appointed Bahar Sirin Akkpru as head of securities services and TRY cash clearing.
˜ Euroclear appointed Mike Reece as head of Euroclear Bank client services, adding to his current responsibilities as managing director, head of collateral management services.
˜ RBS International Depositary Services( IDS) appointed Michael Mekhaeel as its new head of depositary, based in Luxembourg.
˜ Euroclear Sweden appointed Hanna Vainio as its new CEO, effective immediately, following Roger Storm ' s decision to step down from the role.
˜ Apex Group appointed Zion Hilelly as chief product officer.
˜ Ali Osman has become the third former Citi securities services executive to join fund services firm Waystone over the past 18 months, assuming the role of head of product pricing.
˜ Jeremy Albrecht left his role as managing director and global head of client coverage Europe at CACEIS to become country head and CEO of Universal Investment( UI) in Luxembourg.
˜ U. S. Bank named Ted Duggan as its new head of global fund services strategy and solutions.
˜ Roy Zimmerhansl, a GC Legend and former head of securities lending at HSBC has taken on a new role as head of capital markets at WTS Hansuke, a tax, assurance and digital services consultancy.
˜ Saphyre has named Tom Kinnally as a senior advisor, bringing four decades of experience in the securities industry to the firm.
˜ Securities services veteran Gunjan Kedia will become U. S. Bancorp’ s chief executive officer in April, taking over the role from Andy Cecere.

˜ Pirum has named Ed Corral, formerly of JP Morgan, as head of collateral services as the firm expands its presence in the US and responds to increasing demand for collateral management and optimisation solutions.
˜ EquiLend has named Nick Delikaris as chief product officer and a member of its executive leadership Team, effective immediately. Delikaris joins from State Street, where he was global head of platform and data solutions, overseeing electronic trading, business process engineering, and performance analytics.
