I Have a concern!
We welcome your comments on how your Early Childhood Service runs. Parent input is extremely important and feedback provides the staff and the management committee with ideas for follow up and also allows us to modify or change policies should the need arise. We would hope that there are few barriers between the Centre and parents, and that you feel free enough to discuss issues of concern with us. How you can do this is outlined below.
* Informal Discussions.... You can do this on a one to one basis with any member of staff, or make an appointment to see the Director. Staff will happily talk to you about aspects of direct care and programming. For issues related to fees, care placement, or other administration areas please the Director or Administration Officer.
* Formal complaints about service delivery, aspects of care, administration procedure or other issues should be raised with the Committee in writing. You may like to raise the issue with the Director prior to this action being taken to ascertain if the issue can be resolved at that level.
Letters can be directed to the Board at P. O. Box 395, Griffith, NSW, 2680
Once the issue is tabled at a committee meeting it could be dealt with by the whole committee at that moment, or may be referred to a complaints and disputes sub committee who would meet separately on the issue. They may invite you and any other parties to discuss the issue with them and to look at ways that it can be resolved. Once the issue is discussed all parties will be notified of the outcome.
