R.Kristi Modern Hospitality began in 2009 as a social event service offered in the DC area. Having hosted numerous community activities, parties and private events, RKMH grew into a full service hospitality and special event firm and became public in early 2011. RKMH's diverse and talented team, go the extra mile for their clients. Keeping family and friends close, RKristi has grown to become a comfortable environment welcoming all religions, cultures, and lifestyles keeping one common factor in mind……we all have a reason to CELEBRATE. She was blessed to have been in the company of many “dreamers” knowing someday these “dreamers” would become “doers”. They were able to bounce ideas off of each other and they all grew to become successful in their chosen career path. Through this database of entrepreneurs, she was able to get a great sense of what the industry was craving. Her relationships with vendors and other business owners develop her sense of what hospitality truly is; therefore when the opportunity to develop GCC presented itself, she had to run with it. Everyone loves food, everyone loves luxury, not everyone can have both..which is why gourmet food and how we developed this company intrigues her. It gives everyone an opportunity to enjoy the love of food and the luxury that compliments it.
She plans to expand within the hospitality industry. She values the relationships she has made throughout her career and plan and is open to where ever life brings her. She have a few other companies in the making , RKristi is doing well and will one day become a household name ; and GCC is their baby so they are enjoying seeing it grow and develop into a staple within the industry. Growth and happiness is where she sees her future going and she is excited for the ride!
