Deutsche Bank has named Paul Maley , its head of UK and Ireland corporate banking , as its new global head of securities services . Maley replaces Michaela Ludbrook who took on a new position to lead client coverage in the Americas for the corporate banking business .

Citi has hired Maria Cantillon , a former European buy-side and alternatives executive at State Street , to lead its European custody sales business , representing the latest major hire to bolster its global sales team . During his time with JP Morgan , he helped shape its securities services business in the region , helping it to become the largest global custodian for the country ’ s superannuation funds .

Citi has hired a former relationship management and asset management sales executive from State Street to lead sales for custody and fund services in Asia-Pacific ( APAC ). Mark England re-joins Citi in Hong Kong , where he will report to Sanjiv Sawhney , global head of custody and fund services , and David Russell , APAC head of securities services and Hong Kong head of markets .

State Street has hired Benjie Fraser , a pension fund servicing expert from JP Morgan , as its new head of asset owners for the Europe , Middle East and Africa ( EMEA ) region . Fraser has rejoined State Street in London to head up the EMEA asset owner segment , where he will lead the rollout of services and products to clients including pension funds and insurance companies .

HSBC has promoted the head of its private markets services to lead the global alternatives investments business . Tony McDonnell , who previously ran HSBC ’ s private assets business within the asset owners and managers segment , will now oversee the bank ’ s services for both private markets and hedge fund clients , according to an internal memo from HSBC .

Paul Kilcullen has been named country head of Ireland , only five months after he joined the custodian as CEO of fund services for Ireland in August from Citi , where he had spent 12 years .

Dutch headquartered fund services firm Intertrust Group has reshuffled the leadership for its Asia-Pacific ( APAC ) business , with James Donnan taking on responsible for services in the region . Donnan , who most recently served as head of Intertrust ’ s Hong Kong business and head of APAC sales for three years , has been appointed regional managing director where he will oversee its business across Australia , China , Hong Kong , India , Japan , New Zealand and Singapore .
