It doesn’t seem very long ago we were penning the vision and core values of what Grace Church would be. Now, here we are almost four years later. Yes, it’s true Grace Church just celebrated her third year at Easter, but trust me, the early stages of praying and planning began months before the official launch.

Some things haven’t changed. We still desire to know and share God’s story with our neighbors and the nations; a God-centered place where the un-churched, the formerly churched, and those who are interested can come to learn more about God, connect with new friends, and grow spiritually. We believe that God has called us to join Him on mission and because of that, we are committed to being a missional church engaged in the purposes of God.

We’re still striving to make worship relevant and our community authentic. And, because we know the Christian life is best lived with others on a journey, we’re not a church with small group – we’re a church of small groups.

But there’s been a lot of changes and that’s been very apparent over the past year. Not only are we growing numerically, we made the leap to becoming multi-site. Because change is an inevitable part of growth, it’s important we continue to have a crystal clear understanding of who we are and know our DNA, which is our vision, our mission and our values. It’s our foundation and essential to staying true to our identity.
