In Memorial
Lottie Gorski, February 1, 2014
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, mother-inlaw and grandmother. Cherished wife of 63 years to the late Thaddeus A. Gorski, Sr. (2010).
Adored mother of Joseph and his late wife, Vicky (2002), Bernard and wife, Nancy, Thaddeus
Jr. and wife, Catherine, and Martin and wife, Suzanne Dajczak. Treasured Babcia to Genevieve and husband, Todd, Thaddeus III and fiancée Anna, James, Alexandra, Michael, Peter
and Aaron. Lottie was born to John and Veronica (nee Rzepka) Pelc, the middle of seven children. Predeceased by siblings Stanley, Leon, Genevieve and Ted. She will be greatly missed
by her dear sister, Wanda Stachelski and late husband Joe, brother Edward and wife Pat and by many nieces and
nephews. Wonderful and caring daughter-in-law of Joe and Anna Gorski and a marvelous sister-in-law to the late Joe
and Helen Growe. Dear and valued friend of Father Ted Gatfield, Ron and the late Marie Boyer, the late Shirley and
Marty Goldberg, Eila and the late James Morrison, Stanley and Helen Dajczak, Lottie and the late Ted Budzinski and
many others whose lives she touched deeply. Lottie was a member of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada for 61
years and was conferred a life membership in the organization in 1976. She served as president of her division of the
London Diocese of the CWL association for six years and had continued involvement until her death. She was a devout Catholic all of her life and lived by her faith. Her Polish heritage meant a great deal to her and she was proud to
extend her knowledge of those traditions to her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Lottie was gifted with a marvelous voice and took pleasure in sharing her talents through the church and as a soloist for many celebrations. She was multi-talented and eager to set people at ease. Her example has given all she touched a recipe for
a life well-lived. Mom passed into the arms of our Lord surrounded by family and the prayers of those at a distance.
We would also like to thank the many caregivers who tended to her so gently.
