These services aim to lower the stress level experienced when an infant is in the NICU and foster a supportive community . Even during the most difficult of times , Miracle Babies aspires to let NICU families know that they are not alone .
As a non-profit organization , Miracle Babies relies on funds raised at events such as their annual Gala to sustain their operations for the upcoming year . This event brings together prominent top businesses , as well as social and philanthropic leaders , for an evening of gourmet cuisine , spectacular live auction opportunities , and dancing . This year ’ s event program will include honoring Dr . Edith Eger , bestselling author and Holocaust Survivor , and healthcare hero Dr . John Lamberti , pediatric cardiovascular surgeon .
The Gala aims to raise the funds needed to provide essential services to families with babies in the NICU . Each year , Miracle Babies supports over 8,000 families through their programs and sees continued growth of their reach to families in need . Miracle Babies programs fulfill their mission and lead to better beginnings for precious babies .
