Just in Time for Foster Youth hosted its annual “ Pathways to Financial Power ” conference at Junior Achievement headquarters in San Diego . The Shark Tank competition included 3 finalists , five entrepreneurial leaders as judges , six angel investors awarding prize money , and keynote speaker Wendy McKinney . The overall goal of the conference is to help transition age foster youth define their power by bringing their employment options into focus , increasing self-sufficiency , leveraging supportive relationships and learning the skills needed to become financially secure .
