Kids Helping Kids

The Youth Philanthropy Council hosted its ’ second annual holiday shoe giveaway . Working all year long , they collected over 13,000 pairs of new shoes and gave them away to San Diego families in need for free . The Youth Philanthropy Council ( YPC ) is a nonprofit organization by a small group of San Diego high schoolers with the mission of kids helping kids . The event was such a success that the line for shoes wrapped around the block three times- but the good news- everyone got the shoes they needed . Congrats !
