Founded in 1988 , the charitable giving and community involvement by La Jolla Cosmetic ( LJC ) has been remarkable . Here are three important charities LJC ’ s supports : Las Patronas , Promises2Kids and Humble Design San Diego .
La Jolla Cosemtic Founder Marie Olesen and Ingrid de Alba de Salazar and evaluated based on their strength of mission , service to the people of San Diego , breadth of influence in the community and fiscal responsibility . Las Patronas volunteers support nonprofit organizations covering a wide variety of services , including health , education , cultural arts and social services . The wife of the doctors at the practice , Dr . Salazar , Ingrid , serves as Vice President . LJC retired surgeon , Dr . Erv Wheeler ’ s wife , Laura , is a sustaining member . For more than thirty years , LJC has supported Las Patronas with a combination of donations , guest gifts and program advertising .
