By expanding its board , Feeding San Diego is primed to solve the problem of hunger in San Diego County
Feeding San Diego has been rescuing surplus food to feed people in need since its founding 15 years ago . In recent years , the pandemic and ensuing economic challenges have brought newfound awareness to the problem of hunger across the country , as well as here at home . With renewed energy to bolster its mission from five new members , Feeding San Diego ’ s Board of Directors is charging ahead to continue addressing the needs of the community .
