For San Diegans experiencing homelessness , many for the first time , Safe Parking provides a safe place to park their car and supportive services to help them return to stable housing .
The Center for Jewish Care is a friendly and compassionate resource for San Diego ’ s Jewish community to access critical services and support and offers opportunities for volunteerism and engagement .
Since 1918 , JFS has welcomed the stranger with dignity and compassion while prioritizing public health — helping migrants and their families reach their destination of safer lives — free from war , violence , and persecution .
