Barbie & Dan Spinazzola Ace also has collateral duty of article detection , meaning he is capable of locating discarded items that may have been thrown out of a vehicle window during a pursuit , firearms , and other contraband related items .

PARTNERS FOR ............ 2 years and 9 months K9 BREED & AGE ......... Black Belgian Malinois , 5 years old DOG DONATED BY ..... Susan Drescher-Mulzet & Mark Mulzet Bady has deployed on numerous high-risk missions with the SRC team , which is a collateral assignment that is integrated within SDPD SWAT Team .

Marcia & Rich Leake Hondo has been involved in numerous interventions where the suspect surrendered due to Hondo ’ s presence . He enjoys laying in the shade during his off time .

Ellen & Barry Scott Ajax was the youngest police dog bought at eight months old . He has since developed as a police dog and is also cross-trained as an explosive detection handler .
