The San Diego Latino Health Coalition ON THE FRONTLINES

The San Diego Latino Health Coalition was formed in 2020 in response to the C�VID-�� health crisis and its disproportionate impact on communities of color . The members of the San Diego Latino Health Coalition are community-based organizations with deep ties to the Latino community . The goal of the Coalition is to interrupt the community spread of C�VID-�� by leveraging trusted messengers and design and support targeted efforts to reduce the spread of C�VID-�� in susceptible populations . As the Latino community continues to experience higher rates of C�VID-�� infection and death , and as C�VID-�� vaccinations among Latinos continues to lag behind other groups , the Coalition is helping to reach the most impacted residents of San Diego . The Coalition is on the frontlines of delivering critical information on the C�VID-�� vaccine and how to sign-up for a vaccination appointment .
