BRISTOW, VA. — A martial arts teacher in northern Virginia has been arrested after a 5-year-old student was thrown to the ground and lost consciousness. RITA JO JETTY JONES Rita Jo Jetty Jones, 84, of Phoenix, AZ, has moved on from this life to the next, leaving behind her daughters, Leslie Jones and Janis Hayashi and son, Jay Jones. She’s meeting up with her daddy and mama, Ernest and Relda Faye Jetty; husband, Phill Jones; and sister, Naomi Sherwood. Free from her arthritic, broken body, she can now escort animals over the rainbow bridge on strong, straight legs and raise her arms to hug family and friends as they welcome her. With her dementia gone all the great memories are now flooding back. No services will be held. Raise a glass in her honor and remember the good times, as we all had many with this remarkable woman. CAR CRASHES INTO COFFEE SHOP IN UK: 1 DEAD, 5 INJURED The Associated Press LONDON — A car has smashed into a Costa coffee shop in Britain, leaving one woman dead and five other people injured. The car hit the front of the cafe Thursday morning in Westerham, 25 miles (40 kilometers) southeast of London. Officials say four of the injuries are serious. Photos of the crash posted on social media show an Audi embedded into the front of the cafe. Firefighters freed two people from inside the car. The town center was closed off after the incident. In a separate incident, a bus collided with a car and then smashed into a building housing a regional office for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. Seven people needed hospital treatment after that collision in Peterborough, north of London. The guide dog office said no animals or people in the building were injured.
