One Direction hunk Zayn Malik is engaged to his pop star girlfriend Perrie Edwards, according to a new U.K. report.
Edwards sent gossip sites into a spin after flashing a diamond ring on her wedding finger
at the premiere of the boy band's new tour movie "1D: This Is Us" in London's Leicester
Square on Tuesday.
Now it has emerged Malik proposed to Edwards, who he has been dating since 2011, at
the weekend.
A source tells Britain's The Mirror, "It was so romantic -- Zayn popped the question over
the weekend when they were alone together. It's one of the first weekends they've spent
with each other, as they've both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the
perfect moment.
"All her bandmates were at the V Festival, and she couldn't wait to tell them. They're all
really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn."
Malik, who showed his devotion to Edwards in June by having a tattoo of her face inked
on his arm, couldn't hide his affection for the blonde beauty at the film premiere. The
