he Rio 2016 Olympic Games was full of memorable moments. Sports fans worldwide surely will not forget the men's
400 m world record broken by South Africa's Wayde van Niekerk or Usain Bolt’s impressive races. However, if we hod

to remember only one image, a souvenir of Tunisia's participation in Rio olympics, it would be Marwa Amri's face of victory in
women's wresthing 58kg category. Her face filled with emotion, the young 27-year-old woman explodes with joy at the end
of the match against Azerbaidjani Yuliya Ratkeviç.
With her bronze medal, Marwa Amri made her country and all women proud. I

’édition 2016 des Jeux Olympiques aura apporté son lot de moments mémorables. Assurément, les
amateurs de sport du monde entier n’oublieront pas l’incroyable record mondial du Sud Africain
Wayde van Niekerk à l’épreuve du 400m ou encore les impressionnantes courses d’Usain Bolt. Mais si
nous devions garder une image, un souvenir de la participation tunisienne à ces compétitions internationales, ce serait assurément le cliché de la lutteuse Marwa Amri lors de sa victoire en demie finale dans la
catégorie de moins de 58kg. Le visage marqué par l’émotion, la jeune femme de 27 ans laisse éclater sa
joie à l’issue du match qui l’opposait à l’azerbaïdjanaise Yuliya Ratkeviç.
Par sa victoire, Marwa Amri apportait une deuxième médaille de bronze à la Tunisie mais bien plus encore,
une fierté pour notre pays et pour toutes les femmes. I
