La Rachidia au secours du Malouf

’ Association de l ’ Institut Al-Rachidi de musique lance une opération urgente de restauration et de sauvegarde de ses archives . Depuis sa création en 1937 jusqu ’ à aujourd ’ hui , la Rachidia a réussi à rassembler plus d ’ une centaine de morceaux musicaux des plus grands « Sheikhs » et musiciens du Malouf tunisien . Ces vestiges de la musique arabo-andalouse sont pourtant en péril et nécessitent une action rapide subventionnée par des dons . Grâce à cet important projet , La Rachidia souhaite promouvoir le Malouf comme patrimoine culturel national . Elle souhaite également la création d ’ une bibliothèque numérique qui permettra l ’ accès aux plus beaux morceaux mais aussi réaménager l ’ institut et créer un espace polyvalent , composé entre autres d ’ une salle d ’ exposition , d ’ une bibliothèque qui enfermera les archives et d ’ un studio d ’ enregistrement dédié aux musiciens . The Association of the Rachidi Institute of music launches an urgent restoration and a backup operation .
Since its creation in 1937 until today , the Rachidia has managed to gather more than a hundred musical pieces by the greatest “ Sheikhs “ and musicians of the Tunisian malouf . Yet , these relics of Andalusian classical music are at risk and a quick action supported by donations is needed . With this important project , the Rachidia aims at promoting malouf as a national cultural heritage . The association also wants the creation of a digital library that will provide access to the most beautiful pieces but also to redesign the Institute and create a multipurpose space including an exhibition hall , an archive library and a recording studio for musicians .
