M ajor educational and tourist destination, Tunisia has important assets, such as the quality of its universities and hotels. Offering an less expensive educational system in comparison to Europe or the United States, it attracts today a large part of the African students. This scientific outreach places Tunisia as a new centre of scientific advancement and supplier of quality educational services. It should be noted that it creates several sources of income as well as jobs (directly and indirectly) for the country. Therefore, the reception of 20 000 foreign students throughout the country corresponds to the equivalent of a million tourists staying in Tunisia for a year. These new markets encourage Tunisair to create new routes to Africa, by offering for example a new route to Niamey, more flights to Abidjan, and before 2020, Gabon (Libreville), Cameroon (Douala), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Kinshasa), Congo (Brazzaville), Nigeria (Lagos), Chad (N’Djamena) and Benin (Cotonou), on top of its current destinations such as Bamako, Dakar and Ouagadougou. This new momentum places Tunisia at the new crossroads of the African continent. I ‫تشــع في إفريقيا‬ ‫تونس‬ ّ ‫أصبحت تونس خالل بضع سنوات الوجهة المفضلة لألفارقة‬ ‫حيث أن عدد الوافدين
