This first collection is built around three themes : the fouta’s three stripes motif, the raw material and the ancient motifs from ceramics and embroidery. La Liste Tunisienne in your homes ! From the “techbik“ dress to boxes made of halpha or embroidered fabric, to bowls and plates, baskets, mats and foutas for the beach or the table ; each object is an invitation to discover and rediscover in a new light a universe full of sensations and rich of traditions. Therefore, the famous lablabi bowl, meant for this typically Tunisian chickpea soup, regains thanks to Laurence Touitou and Habib, potter from Nabeul, its traditional aspect available in yellow and green enamels typical of the old potteries from Nabeul. The mat Somaa is carefully braided then bracketed by the expert hands of Icheraf, Jamila and her neighbours. This mat made of zaaf fiber, a variety of almond tree, requires more than two weeks of la bour. And since the creator pays attention to detail, each item is accompanied by a small booklet that shows the steps of its artisanal manufacture, which we can also find on the brand’s website, through short documentaries.
