Exposition “Aouled Chemla” , un
siècle de céramiques d’art en
Tunisie
“Aouled Chemla” se tiendra au centre culturel « le Palais Abdellia » à La Marsa, durant le mois du Patrimoine Tunisien, du 16
Avril au 8 Mai 2016. L’exposition retracera l’histoire d’un artisanat
méditerranéen d’une extraordinaire richesse en même temps que
le parcours d’une famille remarquable, les Chemla, qui a su par
son talent réinventer, innover et faire connaître ses produits issus
de la longue tradition de la céramique tunisienne, dans le reste du
Maghreb, en Europe et jusqu’aux États-Unis. Précédemment illustré dans un magnifique ouvrage, co-édité par les éditions Déméter
et les éditions de l’Eclat, l’aventure de cette entreprise familiale
unique datant des années 1860 à la fin du 20e siècle retrace une
véritable partie de l’histoire et du patrimoine artisanal tunisien. I

Exhibition “Aouled Chemla”, a century of ceramics
in Tunisia
“Aouled Chemla” will take place at the cultural centre “Palais Abdellia“ in La
Marsa, during the month of Tunisian Heritage, from 16 April to 8 May 2016. The
exhibition will tell the story of an extraordinarily rich Mediterranean craftsmanship
and retrace the journey of a remarkable family, the Chemla, that reinvented,
innovated and promoted the Tunisian traditional products in the Maghreb,
Europe and the United States. Previously illustrated in a beautiful book, co-edited
by Demeter Editions and Editions de l’Eclat, the adventure of this unique family
company from 1860 to the end of the 20th century bears witness to a true part of
the Tunisian history and craft heritage. I From 16 April to 8 May 2016

مسيرة عائلة متم ّيزة هي عائلة شملة التي نجحت بفضل موهبتها في إعادة إحياء
وتجديد هذه الحرفة والتعريف بمنتوجها المستوحى من تقاليد صناعة الخزف
. في أرجاء المغرب العربي وأوروبا والواليات المتحدة،الضاربة في القدم في تونس
لقد سبق وأن تشارك كل من دار "ديميتير" للنشر ودار "ليكال" للنشر في إصدار
1860 كتاب يروي مغامرة هذه المؤسسة العائلية الفريدة من نوعها وذلك منذ عام
إلى نهاية القرن العشرين وهي ترسم بحق جزءا من التاريخ ومن تراث الصناعات
