COOL WORK SPACES
Pierce Arrow Building in the Central West End
Who says work has to be boring? In each
Issue of both Gazelle STL and Gazelle West,
we will share information about spaces that
inspire, with their unique architecture and
energy. We are kicking things off with the
building that Gazelle Media calls home,
located in the Central West End. The Pierce
Arrow Building is home to many creative
types - artists, photographers and designers.
It was built by the Pierce Arrow Motor Car
Company in 1929, a year when the luxury
automobile manufacturer set sales records for
its expensive cars, despite the onset of the
Great Depression. The building is believed
to have been designed by noted St. Louis
architect Will Levy.

Today, the three-story space houses Mary

and many other cool businesses.
