The Arabian Killifish (Aphanius dispar Rüppel, 1829) is found along the entire
coastline of the Arabian Peninsula and the Eastern Mediterranean in a wide
variety of habitats both man-made and Natural. It is highly adaptable and
tolerant of a wide range of salinities from pure freshwater to hypersaline
conditions and is capable of withstanding temperatures in excess of 40
Centigrade. Killifish form large shoals and breed throughout the year with a
probable peak in the months of April to June ... Photo taken at the Arabia's
