When Olivia Bennington attended a Halloween party at
the invitation of a co-worker, little did she know that she
would meet Scott Saboff, the man with whom she would
want to spend the rest of her life.
They were soon inseparable. Nearly five years later, in
the back of her mind, Olivia thought Scott might propose
on her birthday. They had discussed marriage, but
hadn’t decided anything definite. When she received a
different gift (not a proposal), she shrugged it off. Two
weeks later, on a float trip down the Current River,
Scott surprised her with a diamond ring one evening
while surrounded by a dozen of their friends. He bent
down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Happy,
but surprised, Olivia said, “Yes,” but later admitted that

she never imagined it would happen then. He caught her
totally off guard. But that was the plan all along.
That was last July, and since then, they have been busily
planning the wedding of their dreams. The two have
common interests like love of family and the St. Louis
Cardinals, and look forward to starting their new life and
family together.
“Olivia makes me so happy, and I want to be able to call
her ‘my wife,’” Scott said. They both are excited to share
their wedding day with their family and friends. “I can’t
wait to walk down the aisle and see Scott waiting at
the altar,” Olivia said. “He treats me with such love and
respect, and he is such a great person.”
