I
t was an evening of celebration for Mathews-Dickey Boys’ &
Girls’ Club as community leaders, local personalities and the
organization’s scholar athletes came together for the annual Awards
Program & Benefit Concert at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. The night
began with an elegant dinner, followed by an awards ceremony and
benefit concert that featured comedian Darius Bradford, and artists Doug E.
Fresh and Cameo. Gazelle publisher and founder Cillah Hall was among the
evening’s honorees.
