I
t was a festive affair at the Hyatt Regency at the Arch for the annual Go Nuts for
Haiti gala and auction to benefit Meds & Food for Kids. The evening celebrated
Haitian culture, with a silent auction of Haitian arts and crafts, a themed dinner,
and entertainment that featured native dance and music. The children of Haiti
are the main benefactors of the organization’s focus to save lives by combating
malnutrition. The event was co-chaired by April and Rick Moeckel, Patty Shea, Dr. Will
Ross and Arlene Moore. Honorary chairs were Michael McMillan and Peter Raven.
