S
andra Choi has been the creative director of J.
Choo Limited since its inception in 1996. She
began working with her uncle, Jimmy Choo, while
in college, perfecting the art of creating couture
shoes: designing, cutting patterns, stitching, fitting
and constructing shoe lasts. Choi eventually abandoned her
studies at the prestigious Central Saint Martins school, where
she studied for a degree in fashion design, and completely
dedicated her time and talent to making Jimmy Choo the
global, luxury show brand we know and love today. As
her responsibilities increased, with the addition of bags,
fragrances and eyewear, and the launch of the men’s business,
Choi was named sole creative director in 2013.
