s Chairman and CEO of Major Brands, Inc., Susan (Sue) B. McCollum
leads Missouri’s only female-owned and operated large distributor of
premium spirits, wine and beer in the state.
With offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Columbia and Cape
Girardeau, Major Brands has more than 600 employees, and serves more
than 9,000 customers throughout Missouri. Sue is also the principal and
CEO of Eagle Brands Sales, a south Florida Anheuser-Busch distributor.
Prior to joining Major Brands, she founded McCollum and Associates, a
strategic marketing and communications consulting firm and was an adjunct
professor of marketing at Webster University. She was previously director of
public affairs at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
Sue is actively engaged in the St, Louis community, and serves on the
boards of the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, Forest Park Forever,
CityArchRiver Foundation, and the Regional Business Council. She is a
trustee of Washington University of St. Louis. In 2015, Sue co-chaired the St.
Louis Region’s United Way campaign, leading it to record results.
In 2015, Sue, who holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from The American
University, graduated with a Juris Doctor from Washington University in St.
Louis School of Law. She lives in the city of St. Louis with her sons, Michael and
Brian Epsten, and loves walking in Forest Park and following professional sports,
espec ially her beloved Buffalo Bills.
