BEAUTY & GLAM eye by using a pencil to create a less-defined look. A more romantic brow shape looks like something you would see on a Disney princess. When applying the color, focus on a more rounded shape with less sharp edges and a slightly elongated tail. Add a shadow base or primer that is a shade or two lighter than your lid to brighten and instantly open the eyes. I almost always like to tight-line the inner rim of the upper eye to softly define the eyes and make them look more awake. To choose a shadow pallet, think of something soft - almost pastel - like taupe, pink, peach, flesh tones or even a little purple. My choice for this season is the limited-edition Dior 5 color shadow in either “Flirt” or “Thrill.” Even the names have me feeling the V-Day vibes. Using a dome-shaped shadow brush, apply the medium (second lightest) shade to the top lid. The pink shade in each pallet will be used with a fluffy blending brush to warm up the crease and give soft definition. Use a pointed brush to apply the next darkest color to the lower lash line and draw it up toward the crease. The darkest color will be applied with a dense liner brush to the lash line on top and bottom. Finish with your favorite primer and mascara combo and move on to lips and cheeks. For cheeks, choose a muted peachy tone and apply with a large fluffy brush to create diffused color. If your eyes look bolder, pick a nude peach or baby pink lip. If your eyes look soft, don’t be afraid to liven up the lips with a brighter color. And with that, you have a finished product - a romantic look that’s sure to make you fall in love with you.
