FAVORITE WEDDING MOMENT One of my favorite parts had to be when Godfried sprinkled rose petals down the aisle for me before my dad walked me down . He wanted to be the one that did it to show me just how special I am . It was so sweet .
WHAT I HAVE LEARNED ABOUT MARRIAGE SO FAR We are both constantly learning something new every day . The biggest takeaway so far is remembering that there are two people in the relationship . Each person comes with different ideas and ways of thinking . Respecting and allowing one another to share those thoughts is really important . Open communication is also another crucial piece . We were long distance for a long time before we were in the same city , so communication was the majority of what we had . With each passing day , we are constantly discovering something about each other - good and bad – that makes the other person special .
