Accessorize!
I
love clothes, and I am thrilled to be at that adventurous
phase of trying new looks and stepping up my style
voice, so to speak.
I probably won’t get to that “Sex in the City” Carrie
Bradshaw level, but I really want to explore mixing
prints, textures and fabrics. As much as I feel good from a
fashion standpoint, I have been told that I need to accessorize
more. Maybe it is because I am nearly 5 feet, 10 inches tall, a fact
that took me years of fighting old high school insecurities before
finally feeling comfortable in my own skin. I tend to shy away
from elaborate pieces. I am drawn to accessories that have style,
but don’t bring too much attention to my look. Here are a few
items that add style to any wardrobe, but don’t scream “Look
at Me.”
Montegallo Hats
European brand Montegallo
offers some of the coolest
unisex hats. I particularly love
the ones that are foldable,
perfect to slip into my jacket
pocket. Most hats retail at
just over $200.
