Après avoir marqué le chien de garde , Ghyath , du sceau de protection magique , Si Ali part en pèlerinage à la Ville Sainte en laissant ses quatre filles Emna , Yasmine , Aziza et Leyla , dans le village de Chebika , situé près de Tozeur . Surgit alors une ogresse redoutable qui tente de pénétrer dans la demeure et de les dévorer . Malgré la vigilance du chien , Leyla , la plus jeune , disparaît . Alors commencera une quête pour trouver l ’ antre le monstre et la tarce de Leyla . Inspiré de contes traditionnels tunisiens d ’ ogres , tels que Sab ’ a sbeya fi gasbeya ( Sept vierges dans une hutte ) et Aicha bin el-Ghoul ( Aicha , fille de l ’ ogre ), puisant dans les légendes de djinns et de sorcellerie , Siqal , l ’ antre de l ’ ogresse est un récit fantastique où , racontés autrement , les contes s ’ enchâssent comme les poupées russes dans le récit du destin mouvementé des quatre soeurs . Mouha Harmel revisite à sa manière les contes tunisiens de notre enfance en mettant en avant leur face cachée sombre , cruelle et transgressive . I

This is the story of Si Ali , who , before leaving his village of Chebika , Tozeur , to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca , marks Ghyath , his guard dog , with the seal of magic protection and leaves his four daughters : Emna , Yasmine , Aziza , and Leyla . Then a fearsome ogress appears and tries to break into the house and devour the girls . Leyla , the youngest , disappears despite the vigilance of the dog . Then begins a quest to find the monster ’ s lair and the child ’ s trail . Based on traditional Tunisian tales of ogres , such as Sab ’ a sbeya fi gasbeya ( Seven virgins in a hut ) and Aisha bin el-Ghoul ( Aisha , daughter of the ogre ), drawing on legends of jinns and witchcraft , « Siqal , l ’ antre de l ’ ogresse » is a fantastic story where , told differently , the tales are embedded like Russian dolls in the story of the turbulent fate of the four sisters . Mouha Harmel revisits the Tunisian tales of our childhood by highlighting their dark , cruel , and transgressive side . I

بعد وضع الختم السحري على كلب الحراسة « غياث » يشدّ سي علي الرحال نحو الأراضي المقدّسة لأداء مناسك الحج تاركا بناته الأربع آمنة وياسمين وعزيزة وليلى في قرية الشبيكة الواقعة بالقرب من مدينة توزر . حينها يظهر غول هائل يحاول اقتحام المنزل والتهامهن ، لينتهي الأمر باختفاء الفتاة الصغرى ليلى رغم يقظة الكلب وفطنته ، ومن هنا يبدأ البحث عن مخبأ الوحش على أمل
