MOICH ABRAHAMS Moich studied at St Martins College, where he got a first class honours, and later studied for an MA at Goldsmiths University. In May 2013 he was a prize winner at the Rootstein Hopkins Drawing Exhibition at the Morley Gallery. He enjoys combining spontaneity and playfulness with exploring deeper aspects of the unconscious. He is fascinated with both unwrapping the mysterious and reinventing child-like expressiveness. Central to this process is the art of ‘letting go’. His work has been selected for many shows e.g. the Institute of Contemporary Art, The Whitechapel Gallery, The Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries, Mauger Modern Art in Bath, Camden Arts Centre, Royal College of Art and The British Drawing Show at the Hayward Gallery. Moich is a member of The London Group, has shown with them since 1972 and was elected as a member in 1977. He lives in Battersea, and has a studio in Streatham. http://www.moichabrahams.com [email protected]
