The Habib Bourguiba Pavillon : an architectural success combining modernity and traditional aesthetics

Located in the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris , the Pavillon Habib Bourguiba was inaugurated on December 13 in the presence of the head of government Hichem Mechichi . This new building , which is dedicated to Tunisian students and researchers , is the result of a successful collaboration with the Itinerrance gallery . A true work of art ...
Initiated by the Fondation de la Maison de la Tunisie to double the reception capacity of Tunisian students and researchers in the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris , this large-scale project opened its doors in the 14th arrondissement of Paris after two years of work . Designed by Galerie Itinerrance in collaboration with the agency Exploration Architecture and architect Lamine Ben Hibet , the 6,300m ² building embodies the fusion of innovative architecture and traditional Tunisian aesthetics . The realization of the facade was thus entrusted to the Tunisian designer Wissem Soussi and the calligraphic artist Shoof . Inspired by traditional mashrabiyya , a double skin of aluminum envelops the building in its entirety . On this skin , huge Arabic letters on a metal mesh are written , a process that offers privacy and shade to the 200 rooms that make up the pavilion . Visible from the Périphérique , the Pavillon Bourguiba places artistic creativity at the heart of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and symbolizes a modern Tunisia imbued with its identity . احتضنت المدينة الدولية الجامعية بباريس في 13 ديسمبر المنقضي افتتاح جناح الحبيب بورقيبة المخصص لإقامة الطلبة والباحثين التونسيين وذلك بحضور رئيس الحكومة هشام المشيشي٠ هذا وقد تمّ تصميم المبنى الذي يعتبر عملا فنيّا فريدا من نوعه بالتّعاون مع معرض ٠ Itinerrance
وقد رآى هذا المشروع الضّ النور في الدائرة الرابعة عشر بباريس ٠وبمبادرة من مؤسسة دار تونس التي تسعى إلى مضاعفة استيعاب وقبول عدد أكبر من الطلبة والباحثين التونسيين في المدينة الدولية الجامعية بباريس ، افتتح المبنى أبوابه في غضون عامين من الأشغال . يتجسد هذا المشروع على مساحة
بالتعاون مع tinerranceI 6300 م2 وقد رسمته التصورات الإبداعية لمعرض ، وريشة المهندس المعماري لمين بن هيبت ExplorationArchitecture وكالة الريشة الفنية التي أخرجت المبنى بحلة تجمع بين تصميمات الهندسة المعمارية
. المبتكرة والجوانب الجمالية الحديثة في توقيع يثمّن موروث الثقافة التونسية
حمل جدار المبنى بصمة الأنامل الإبداعية للمصمم التونسي وسام سوسي
ليتخذ لوحة فنية مستوحاة من المشربية Shoof والخطاط المحترف شوف التقليدية بجلد مزدوج من الألمنيوم يغطي المبنى بالكامل ، حيث يتراقص سحر أحرف اللغة العربية على لوحة معدنية توفر خامتها الخصوصية والظل ل200 غرفة يضمها الجناح . كما سيتوقف المارون والعابرون من الطريق المطوقة لتأمل جمال المشروع الفني الإبداعي في قلب مدينة باريس لينجح بذلك جناح
