or 4 years the South Side Shuffle has been a leisurely , fun , and creative way to spend every other Friday night from early November until early April in Puerto Vallarta . The streets of Basilio Badillo were recently widened and towering Bougainvilleas were planted . From 6pm hundreds stroll , enjoy the crowd , music and meet locals and tourists who are in Puerto Vallarta . The sponsors include art galleries with paintings , ceramics and sculptures , jewelry and accessories , clothing and beach ware , homemade soap shop , restaurants , a Wine bar , folk art , a yoga studio , and the local sports bar . Many of the shops / galleries also feature live artist demonstrations , musicians and serve refreshments . The South Side Shuffle is another great cultural attraction you must experience when in Vallarta .
