a la vez son muy acogedoras y
cómodas, así que aprovechamos
las instalaciones para relajarnos y
recargar baterías antes de salir a
conocer el resto de Xalapa.
Before dinner we went for a walk
along the downtown Xalapa area,
where we visited Plaza Lerdo,
the Jesus te Ampare alley, the
Xalapeños Ilustres street and
Parque Juarez, where you can
admire a beautiful view of the city
from its viewpoint, especially at
sunset. We walked until nightfall,
stopping in some places to buy
souvenirs.
The last stop of the day was the
restaurant El Salto de Xala,
where we ate some delicious
molcajetes with shrimp, sausage
with cheese and arrachera,
accompanied by a delicious red
wine. We spent the rest of the
night there toasting, talking and
listening to some live music in the
restaurant.
The last day started with a
delicious breakfast at the hotel.
Nothing like some chilaquiles,
eggs and coffee to start the day.
After breakfast and taking some
pictures in the hotel we checked
out and left for Xico, a beautiful
magical village where every year
in July there is a big party in honor
of Santa María Magdalena.
Xico is definitely a magical village

sight. Its cobblestone streets,
ancient churches and colorful

por el centro histórico de Xalapa,
donde pudimos recorrer la Plaza
Lerdo, el callejón de Jesús te
Ampare, la calle Xalapeños
Ilustres y el Parque Juarez,
donde se puede apreciar una
hermosa vista de la ciudad desde
su mirador, especialmente al
atardecer. Paseamos hasta caer
la noche, parando en algunos
lugares para comprar recuerdos.
La última parada del día fue el
restaurante El Salto de Xala,
donde comimos unos deliciosos
molcajetes de camarón,
longaniza con queso y arrachera,
acompañados de un delicioso
vino tinto. Aprovechamos la
oportunidad para brindar, platicar
y escuchar la música en vivo que
había esa noche en el restaurante.
El último día comenzó con un
delicioso desayuno en el hotel.
Nada como unos ricos chilaquiles
y huevos para empezar el día.
