Gauge Newsletter September 2017 | Page 4

MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN In the last five years I have been observing the great services rendered by the team in the Engineering Students’ Publication Society in bringing updates of all the events associated with the Faculty and students. In time for the Career Fair 2017, Gauge has come out with another interesting edition with a diverse collection of articles. In this edition, you will also find a very interesting interview with one of our brilliant, world famous academics from Electrical and Electronic Engineering department. At a stage where the Faculty is on the path of improving its visibility in the industry and in the society through promotion of student activities and research, the Gauge magazine with its associated reporting does a wonderful job in helping with this good cause. The Gauge magazine, an initiative of ESPS, is a great opportunity for students to sharpen their skills in journalism and writing and also in photography. I am sure that the tremendous enthusiasm of our students, and the ESPS in particular, on bringing out Gauge, and to improve the delivery, will continue to maintain high quality journalism and timely delivery of important news of the Faculty.
