No Ghost Theorem Although not ‘funny’ as the rest of the theorems in this list, no ghost is surely a ridiculous name for a theorem. This theorem comes from the area of string theory which in turn has its roots in calculus, complex analysis, geometry, group theory, etc. In the domain of string theory there happen to be charge-less and massless particles known as ‘ghost particles’(10). Not even casper? “The no ghost theorem gets its name because this theorem doesn’t deal with ghost particles.” No Hair Theorem No Hair Theorem has to deal with black holes; therefore, it is not necessarily a mathematical theorem. However, a great deal of mathematics is needed when it comes to proving things regarding black holes. This theorem states that all the information (hair) about a black hole vanishes leaving only its mass, electric charge and angular momentum(12). References 1.
