Gatsby July 1922 | Page 2

Jay Gatsby's parties are widely known as the go-to place during weekends. People swarm like moths to the blue gardens of his house. We had the pleasure of interview Gatsby about what he does to throw such parties, but we got more than we expected.

“Thank you for welcoming us into your home, Mr. Gatsby.”

“I welcome anyone and everyone, old sport,” he said with that ever-famous eternally reassuring smile.

“Can you please tell us some of your tips and tricks for throwing a party of such enormous proportions such as yours?”

“Well, old sport, people usually just come and my doors are open for anyone and everyone. I seldom have any tips and tricks, you just have to know the right people.”

“Darn, well at least tell us what is the reason for you throwing such parties so frequently?”

Gatsby pulled at his hair and seemed about ready to panic when he said, “It’s for a special lady”

“Might we be able to get an insight into who this special little lady is?”

Before he could answer our question, his butler showed up and said he had a call from Philadelphia and he excused himself.

Saved by the bell.

Who is Gatsby's "special lady"? Rumors

have been spreading of Gatsby and Tom Buchanan's wife having a secret love affair. Are the rumors true? Consequently, his house and their house are right across from each other. Is this pure coincidence or purely intentional?
