Did You Know… • The Mobile Dentist program serving our students is growing rapidly, with both students and parents being pleased with the results. If you would be interested in obtaining these services for your children arrangements can be made by contacting the school nurse, Mrs. Eve Fenton, at ext. 246; • Save The Date! The infamous Mr. Gateway competition, designed to raise Project Graduation funds for the Class of 2014, will be held on Friday, May 2nd. Make sure you are there for this can’t miss event; • The National Honor Society was able to raise over $178.00 in donations for UNICEF this year just from spare change! Those nickels and dimes may not mean much in your pocket, but when everyone pitches in they can add up to a nice amount; • Christian Gillespie was a finalist in the NJ Department of Health and Immunization Information System with his 30-second video about the importance of getting the HPV vaccination. Congratulations Chris on a job well-done; • The following middle school students set new records for running the mile: Tim Sparks – 8th Grade Boys – 5:50 Time Riley Conover – 8th Grade Girls – 6:26 Time Michael Pellegrino – 7th Grade Boys – 5:22 Time This is a great achievement because up until now, these records have held for over 15 years without changing.
