On   a   visit   to   the   Woodbury   Child   Development   Center   for   Read   Across   America   day,   Gateway   middle   school   students   encouraged   the   love   of   reading   to   youngsters.   They   donated   books   to   each   child   and   read   captivating   stories   to   each   class.     Standing   (l-­‐r)   Teagan   Lewis,   Brianna   Potter,   Anna   Sahkul,   Katie   Funk,   Hannah   Pierce,   Samantha   Gerbrick,   Riley   Conover,   sitting   (l-­‐r)   Scarlett   McNulty,   Hannah   LeGoff   and   Sarah   Farina.     National   Epilepsy   Awareness   Day   was   March   27th.     To   show   support   for   anyone   who  may  have  the  disorder,  middle  school   teachers   (l-­‐r)   Ms.   Asia   So,   Ms.   Kim   Clanet,   Mrs.   Elizabeth   Buehler,   Mrs.   Donna   Convey,  Mrs.  Lauren  Clark  and  Mrs.  Carrie   Evans,   along   with   their   students,   dressed   in   various   shades   of   purple   for   the   day.     Epilepsy,   which   can   often   be   controlled   through   medication,   is   a   disorder   that   is   caused   by   abnormal   electrical   activity   in   the  brain,  which  causes  sudden  seizures  in   a  person  unexpectedly.
