The World Language Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony on Thursday, March 7 th. New inductees for French – Kyle Abed, Alexandra Astorga, Vincent DeFrancesco, Saige Marchek, Alexandra McNally, Jennifer Mulqueen, Kaitlyn Nordaby, Alexa Rovello, Jessica Saunders, Emily Tiver, Matthew Tomasetti, Lea Triantafillou, Haley Wells; German – Ryan Cooper, Dana Croft, Nicole Dybus, Spencer Fallon, Justin Maska, Zach Ready, Vanessa Reeves, Madison Royal, Ryan Sole, Sydney Wallace; Latin – Kendle Benatti, Kyle Bright, Jacob Fayette, Brielle Flynn, Natalie Knauer, Collin Malcolm, Catherine Moran; Spanish – Tanvir Bashar, William Cheety, Conner Flynn, Luis Garcia, John Otto, Gina Torres.
Students must have a mid-‐ year“ A” average in their third to fifth year of the language, and seniors in the second year of the language may also qualify if they have successfully completed at least three years of another language.
Tyler Conley, a junior, received the High School Leadership Award from Widener University in recognition of his determination to stand up for what is right, address a wrong, and making a difference in his high school career. Tyler belongs to seven different school-‐ based clubs, volunteers in the community, works part-‐ time at various jobs and still manages to keep his grades high enough to possibly gain him entrance into the STARS program at Gloucester County College when he graduates.
