Favorite Book Character Costume Contest
The literature department sponsored the second annual character costume contest where students( and some brave teachers) dressed in the likeness of their favorite character. Everyone who participated adopted the personality of his or her characters. for the day in celebration of our great American pastime – reading. Following are photos from the event.
Mrs. Morales( wicked stepmother), Mrs. Busch( Cinderella), Mr. Cunning( Price Charming), Mr. Bastien( ugly stepsister # 1) and Mrs. Kelleher,( ugly stepsister # 2). Mrs. Kelleher was instrumental in coordinating the costumes for the teaching staff.
Sophomore student Julie Weikart makes a perfect Little Miss Muffet, don’ t you think? I believe for lunch the cafeteria ladies served her Curds and Whey.
