On Saturday, May 18 th, Gateway’ s National Honor Society students participated in Clean Communities, a project in which members volunteer to clean up an expanse of their surrounding school district in an effort to beautify the area. This year members happily picked up more than 100 pounds of trash and recyclable items from the river section of Beach Hill Road in National Park, making quite a difference in its appearance.
