group
of
44
seniors
attended
a
bus
trip
to
visit
The
College
of
New
Jersey
and
Rider
University
in
September
where
they
were
given
a
tour
of
both
campuses
and
had
an
opportunity
to
meet
with
admissions
counselors.
In
addition,
students
met
college
students
and
heard
first
hand
accounts
of
a
day
in
the
life
of
a
student,
after
which
they
continued
on
to
the
TCNJ
cafeteria
for
a
sumptuous
all
you
can
eat
buffet.
• The
winners
of
the
free
yearbook
raffle
on
Gator
Day
were
Alyssa
Smith
for
high
school
and
Eric
Reeves
for
middle
school.
• Mrs.
Adrienne
Evans,
English
teacher,
is
co-?founder
with
Ms.
Maureen
Hicks
and
Ms.
Barbara
Funkhouser
of
Story
Storks,
a
non-?profit
service
they
run
in
conjunction
with
Cooper
Medical
Center.
The
Story
Storks
program
encourages
new
parents
to
read
to
their
infants
consistently,
with
numerous
volunteers
taking
turns
to
make
daily
visits
to
all
new
mothers
in
the
hospital,
supplying
books
and
services
needed
to
make
this
happen.
The
program
at
Cooper
has
been
so
successful
that
Mrs.
Evans
and
her
co-?founders
will
soon
be
offering
these
services
to
newborns
and
their
families
at
Inspira
Medical
Center
(formerly
Underwood
Hospital)
in
Woodbury.
• Gateway
took
the
first
place
award
for
Best
Color
Guard
in
the
October
5th
competition
held
at
Collingswood.
The
Ragin’
Gator
Marching
Band
finished
in
second
out
of
seven
bands
competing.
Keep

• Fifteen
members
of
our
male
population
(teachers,
administrators,
coaches)
have
teamed
up
to
participate
in
a
beard
contest
to
help
raise
funds
in
the
fight
against
pancreatic
cancer.
