LaTonya Jones is the founder and CEO of F.A.T.H.E.R.S. A single mother of two, she knows firsthand how important family support, community resources and child to parent bonding is for any American household. She is aware that in order to maintain a household, it takes preparation, organization, teamwork, life skills, time management and tons of patience. She was inspired to start a program for single fathers in 2004 after meeting a mechanic who lost his wife to a brutal murder and was left behind to raise seven children on his own. Jones says, "I'm a single mother and it's hard for me, so it has to be twice as hard for a man, since motherhood doesn't usually come natural for them." She has endured the struggles of raising children on her own and looks to share her ideas and give back to other families in need.
