PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . officially introduced its new Star Chef programme to audiences in Amsterdam , the Netherlands , on September 8 , 2017 , as part of its ongoing ‘ Star Chef Launch Campaign ’ programme held for the first time in Jakarta last month .
Indonesian Ambassador to the Netherlands I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja and Garuda Indonesia Amsterdam Branch Office General Manager M . Rizal Pahlevi were present at the event , along with a number of special guests from the Visit Indonesia Tourism Office ( VITO ) and frequent flyers under the GarudaMiles Member programme .
According to M . Rizal Pahlevi , the ‘ Star Chef Launch Campaign ’ aims to introduce the airline ’ s new five-star service through special dishes by Chef Agus Hermawan ( RON Gastrobar Indonesia ) and Chef Vindex Tengker in Garuda Indonesia ’ s Business Class on the Jakarta – Amsterdam route .
“ Through this Star Chef programme , loyal Garuda Indonesia flyers , whether in Amsterdam or in Jakarta , will be able to experience and enjoy high-quality dishes from the finest chefs ,” I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja said .

PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . menggelar acara “ Launching Campaign Star Chef ” di Amsterdam , Belanda , pada 8 September 2017 . Ini merupakan kelanjutan acara “ Launching Campaign Star Chef ” yang telah dilaksanakan lebih dahulu di Jakarta , pada Agustus 2017 .
Acara ini dihadiri oleh Duta Besar Indonesia untuk Belanda I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja , General Manager Garuda Indonesia Branch Office Amsterdam M . Rizal Pahlevi , serta beberapa tamu undangan khusus dari Visit Indonesia Travel Officer ( VITO ), juga GarudaMiles Member .
Menurut M . Rizal Pahlevi , “ Launching Campaign Star Chef ” bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan layanan bintang lima melalui menu spesial dari Chef Agus Hermawan ( RON Gastrobar Indonesia ) dan Chef Vindex Tengker di Business Class Garuda Indonesia di rute Jakarta — Amsterdam .
“ Melalui layanan Star Chef tersebut , seluruh masyarakat baik di Amsterdam maupun di Jakarta yang selalu menggunakan layanan penerbangan Garuda Indonesia kini dapat merasakan dan menikmati sajian makanan berkualitas dari para chef terbaik ,” kata I Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja .

Flag carrier Garuda Indonesia received two more awards this month at the prestigious Brand ASIA 2017 event held by MarkPlus Inc . in partnership with the Japan-based consultancy company Nikkei BP Consulting Inc . at the Raffles Hotel Ballroom on September 7 , 2017 .
The two awards – fifth in the ‘ Top 10 Most Powerful Brands in Indonesia ’ and first in the ‘ Top 3 Most Powerful Transportation / Logistics Brands in Indonesia ’ – were received by PT Garuda Indonesia ( Persero ) Tbk . Marketing and Information Technology Director Nina Sulistyowati .
“ This award is something we are proud of and is at the same time a challenge for us to continue working hard and maintaining the positive reputation we have been able to achieve ,” Nina Sulistyowati said .
