Joey Alexander
Indonesia’s own Joey Alexander has been
playing jazz piano since he was six. Now 11, Joey
has impressed jazz luminaries around the world,
including Wynton Marsalis and Herbie Hancock,
and has released his debut album, My Favourite
Things, which opens with a 10-minute-plus
version of John Coltrane’s harmonically
challenging ‘Giant Steps’.

piano jazz sejak berusia 6 tahun. Kini saat
usianya 11 tahun, Joey telah memukau tokohtokoh jazz di seluruh dunia, seperti Wynton
Marsalis dan Herbie Hancock, serta merilis
album pertamanya, My Favourite Things,
yang diawali dengan versi lagu “Giant Steps”
gubahan John Coltrane, sebuah lagu
yang sulit, sepanjang lebih
dari 10 menit.
Pearl Chan Pui-yee
Pearl Chan Pui-yee, from Hong Kon g,
has amazed the dance world with her
talents. At three years old she was learning
Latin and ballroom dancing; a year later, at
age four, she passed 11 dance exams in one
day; and at just six years old she was
getting ready to take the exam to become
an assistant dance teacher.
Pearl Chan Pui-yee, asal Hong Kong,
membuat dunia tari kagum pada bakatnya.
Pada usia 3 tahun, dia belajar tarian Latin
dan dansa ballroom. Setahun kemudian,
saat usianya 4 tahun, dia lulus 11 ujian tari
dalam sehari. Lalu pada usia 6 tahun,
dia telah mempersiapkan diri untuk

Mikaela Irene Fudolig from the
Philippines started university at the age
of 11. She graduated with the highest
distinction when she was 16 with
a Bachelor of Science in physics,
and went on to study for a PhD,
becoming a professor.
