Pura Lempuyang, Bali
Nicknamed the Gateway to Heaven, Pura Lempuyang sits
opposite the almighty Mount Agung, with a perfect view of the
volcano through the gates on a clear evening. We drove to the temple
for sunset, and were disappointed to see clouds covering most
of the view. Then, just as the sun went down, the clouds cleared
and we had 30 seconds to grab a photo with Agung sitting
tall behind the gates.
Dijuluki “Pintu Surga”, Pura Lempuyang berdiri menghadap
Gunung Agung. Dalam cuaca cerah, pemandangan gunung berapi
itu terlihat sempurna di tengah-tengah gerbang pura. Kami pergi ke
pura untuk menikmati matahari terbenam, namun awan menutupi
sebagian besar pemandangan. Untungnya, tepat pada saat matahari
terbenam, langit mulai cerah dan kami punya 30 detik untuk memotret
Gunung Agung yang menjulang di belakang gerbang pura.
